AI coding for teams with architecture and review requirements

Anvil Coder works on clearly described tasks in your repository and produces traceable changes. In the hosted service, the result arrives as a draft pull request. Your team reviews the solution against its requirements and decides whether to merge it.

Start with one engineering team

Choose an application owner and one repository with a reproducible build. Begin with work that has clear boundaries and can be reviewed by the people responsible for the application.

The first evaluation should answer a practical question: does this workflow help your team complete suitable tasks while keeping changes understandable? Compare it with the tools and review process the team already uses.

Make project rules inspectable

A useful task describes its goal, boundaries and acceptance criteria. Configured project rules add context for the agents. Establish which requirements also have executable checks; a prompt instruction alone does not demonstrate that a rule was followed.

Review the change, acceptance criteria and actually executed checks together. Unavailable toolchains and checks remain open acceptance questions. Your team decides whether the evidence is sufficient for the change.

Prepare the evaluation together

Engineering needs a suitable task and build environment. Security needs the source-code and model-processing data route. The budget owner needs scope, costs and responsibilities. Put these questions into one evaluation brief.

A proposed pilot covers one team, one repository and five small tasks. The platform is hosted in Switzerland; model requests are processed by the configured provider. Confirm that route and the applicable vendor process before starting.
